SHREK The Musical
SHREK The Musical is based on the highly popular animated film from DREAMWORKS. The main character, Shrek the Ogre, has his swamp home overrun by storybook characters who have been displaced by a scheming Farquaad who wants to be king. Shrek makes a deal with Farquaad to rescue Princess Fiona for him to marry to legitimize his claim to the throne of Duloc. Shrek sets out with a loud mouthed donkey as a companion. After the rescue, we find that Fiona hides a secret from the world. Shrek, Donkey and an array of storybook characters thwart Farquaad's wedding to Fiona, and we are treated to a storybook ending.

About the Character
Shrek is an ogre who believes that he wishes to be just left alone in his swamp. He discovers this to be untrue as he pursues his quest to resue a princess, finds a friend in a loud mouthed donkey and finds true love.
