About the Character
The Cowardly Lion is the third of Dorothy's companions and is found lurking in a dark forest where he pretends to be ferocious and tries to scare off Dorothy and her friends. He is, however, a coward through and through and ends up being slapped by Dorothy for chasing Toto.

Wicked Witch of the West
About the Costume
The Wicked Witch of the West (later known as Elphaba) is wearing a black high neck dress with puffed sleeves and a full skirt. She also has a large black pointed witch\'s hat.
About the Character
The Wicked Witch of the West is an evil presence in Oz. She feels that she should have the ruby slippers that belonged to her sister the Witch of the East who was killed when Dorothy's house fell on her. She chases Dorothy across Oz trying to get the shoes. Eventually, Dorothy who is a prisoner in the Witch's castle manages to melt the witch freeing the citizens of Oz from her tyranny.
